Daphne was the Rajeev Motwani Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University, where she served on the faculty for 18 years, and was formerly Chief Computing Officer of Calico, an Alphabet company in the healthcare space. She was the co-founder, co-CEO, and President of Coursera, the largest platform for massive open online courses, which has reached over 100 million learners worldwide. She is the author of over 300 refereed publications with an h-index of over 150, and has been honored with the MacArthur Foundation Fellowship, the ACM Prize in Computing, and induction into the National Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Engineering. TIME Magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in 2012.
