Jen Nwankwo is the Founder and CEO of 1910 Genetics, a biotech company accelerating drug development by integrating AI, computation and biological automation to design small molecule and protein therapeutics. She signed a five-year commercial agreement with Microsoft to accelerate R&D productivity with AI tools, and counts OpenAI CEO Sam Altman among her early investors.
Background
Nwankwo earned her PhD in Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2016. She held HHMI fellowships at Yale, Harvard, and Boston Children's Hospital, and worked in drug discovery at Eli Lilly and Novartis before founding 1910 Genetics in 2018.
